Just come back later in the game (well after the event in this village) and you'll see higher tiered crystals. But all you need to know is really in the link Furious Gunman posted. If anyone needs any further info on how this works, let me know. So I think Ima treat myself to at least one of the high-tier items that can be bought at various vendors. I got a lot of nice gear via quests (Drake/Dragon Scale armor and Starmetal Sword), but there are some nice accessories to be had. I'm still running around in a lot of the gear I started with, too.
I'm nearing the end of the game and the most gold I've had at one time was like 80 gold lol. With 120 spaces in your backpack, you can stock up on a LOT of these before you sell them to the blacksmith at the bottom of the hill. Some of these crystals are worth around 3 gold each. That means instead of getting Small Flawed Crystals, you get Small and Large, Clear and Flawless Crystals. I decided to check this spot out again as I passed near Redcliffe doing some quests to check something out and sure enough my thoughts were correct.Īs you progress in the game, the items you get from this NPC go up in tier. So, give it up! Where do you farm gold? Let us all know your secrets! I run around the world map (lolworldmapisnotaworldmap) trying to get random encounters, but it's still rare that I gain anything noticeable and the load times for a random encounter are horrendous. There's something just not right about having to pay 94.5 silver for a pair of leather gloves with no bonuses hehe.īought the Dwarven Merchant's Belt which increases monetary gain, but when "monetary gain" is already so small, the "gain" is hardly noticeable. Now I don't expect to be decked out in Tier 7 gear as Lv9's and Lv10's - and I don't want to be - but I do expect to be able to afford gear/consumables/backpack space to get by in the game, especially the gear that I got as a perk for pre-ordering (although the gear is cheap compared to other gear). Hell, we even have to BUY pieces of our Blood Dragon Armor we get for pre-ordering! I see 18g tomes sitting in merchant inventory with my name on them and I am nowhere near being able to buy any of those and I can't seem to gain any ground. There are pieces of gear that are incredibly expensive (131gold is the highest I've seen). I am playing through Nightmare which means I am going to go through more consumables, but I'd like to be able to afford a simple ring or two for some of my party members. I normally have just about 2g at any time in the game and that's IF I don't buy anything. GOLD WHERE ARE YOU?!?! The most gold I've had at one time is 7 gold and some change (24 gold for the entire game). Head back to the first page for the rest of our Dragon Age Inquisition strategy guide content. My God. To play around with any of these settings, simply hit the tilde key on your PC keyboard, then type in the desired command and value.Īs an example, if you wanted to unlock a higher framerate for the PC version of the game, you would enter GameTime.MaxVariableFPSxx, where xx is the value you wish the framerate to run at. Unlike earlier instalments in the Dragon Age series, the old batch of direct console cheats don't seem to work at present, but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of game values that can be tweaked.
You can again repeat this process as many times as you wish. When you load up the game once more, you'll have completed the mission instantaneously. If you're playing the PlayStation or Xbox versions of the game, you'll need to close the application, then go to the date settings of your console, then move things forward by an hour. Return to the game and you'll have automatically completed the mission for a fat stack of cash, and you can repeat the mission as many times as you like. Next, simply alt-tab on the PC and move the system clock forward by one hour. To get your hands on all the money you've ever dreamed of, select Gather Coin in Ferelden, send Josephine on the mission and take a look at the timer. It's also possible that this exploit will be patched out in due course, although it would be very hard to remove from the game's systems. The trick lies in tweaking the system clock on your console or PC, but be warned that taking advantage of this cheat can really ruin the whole flow of the game. The first and most universally useful cheat for Dragon Age Inquisition allows you to essentially have a limitless amount of cash in your reserves.
